Anna is a wonderful story teller. She brings you into the story with her knowledgeable yet animated cadence. Anna is very friendly....my daughter had a wonderful time talking with her between the stops. Had an excellent time learning the history of Wilmington NC, and on top of it we got some interesting pictures, my girlfriend n I highly recommend doing the Ghost Walk tour if you ever decide to visit
We enjoyed the tour immensely! Kent was a wonderful orator and kept us entertained throughout the evening. My mother has mobility issues for which she uses a cane. Kent was very considerate of her situation and kept the pace for her to be able to keep up with the crowd. I would highly recommend and look forward to doing another ghost walk the next time we are visiting!
Took part in a walk a few years ago and can only imagine it’s gotten better! Was a great, cold spooky night!
So the ghost walk was fun, spooky, but a simple google search will demonstrate the fact that some of the stories they tell are largely false. Really frustrating because undoubtedly Wilmington has a cool history and plenty of ghost stories to tell but poaching stories from other cities isn’t cool, telling outright lies isn’t cool either. Would recommend they restructure their story telling to be more truthful in the future.
I have gone on the Ghost Walk of Old Wilmington a few times since I have moved here. I loved it every time. The history is amazing . The storytellers bring it to life. Will recommend to anyone.
This is a very enjoyable tour. The guides are really into it and make it so much fun! I've gone on the walk a couple of times and would definitely do it again!
Enjoyed the stories and the manner in which the guide presented them. The only downfall was not the guides fault...jets going over every few minutes and the heat.
