The tour guide barely spoke about anything interesting—no ghost stories, just rambling about some trees brought in by rich old guys to Florida. She spoke softly with her back turned, making it impossible to hear over the noisy surroundings. While I’m sure well intended, the tour was terrible. We spent 30 min at the first house being told 13 stories (I counted) about people’s second hand encounters of what they saw at the house. The guide Deb, rambled - didn’t talk about ghosts and carried on at each stop. Everyone in our group was looking at each other waiting for a chance to dip out.
The tour wasn't about anything scary or haunted. More of a history tour for those interested in learning about people who lived in some of the homes. The guide told the customers to go and begin the tour at 725 pm. It was to start at 730. When we told her there were people using the facilities, she rolled her eyes and threw her hands up. Tour was fun and tour guide had a lot of personality. I wish the tour was a little longer and the ghost tales were a little better - but this was still very enjoyable.
