My optometrist had no personality and the thoroughness of the exam was comparable to Shopko Optical. Frames were very expensive and broke twice within a year. My insurance doesn't cover that much, so I'm going back to Shopko Optical.

I came in a couple weeks ago to have my dental loupes/glasses adjusted. Beth was the tech helping me. She was amazing! She took over an hour adjusting them little by little until they were perfect. She was beyond patient and I’m super grateful for her expertise. My loupes are still working great! Thank you!!

Here is a current review. FIVE Stars. I just went July 2nd, 2024. No issues whatsoever. Located in the GHC Hatchery Hill Clinic, this is a full eye care center staffed with eye doctors (Optomitrists). My GHC insurance this year includes vision, but as a GHC member with Diabetes, I am covered here without any deductibles or co-pays anyway! My eye doctor was wonderful, Dr Timothy Ruder, OD. He gave me a complete eye exam looking beyond the vanilla eye vision test. He tested for Glaucoma, Macular degeneration and Cataracts. He ... read more

Booked my eye visit months in advance hoping my contacts would last me throughout the waiting time, but they didn't. Called and asked if they had any sooner availability, but they did not. BUT they were kind enough to offer to see if I am able to buy two contacts to get me by for the time being since I can not see without them and don't have glasses. Good customer service. Thank you.
