After two appointments it's clear the doctor is disorganized and doesn't respect her patients time. She had me wait almost an hour my first visit and after 30 minutes of waiting my second visit I just left. Add in clueless and slow moving staff and their inability to get you paperwork or release files in a timely fashion I can't recommend this office.
I have been a patient of Dr. Alam for about 12 years now. She's thorough, gives you her undivided attention, and takes all your health concerns seriously. I trust her with my well being and recommend her for anyone who wants a doctor who actually cares. All her staff is very nice and friendly. It's easy to call the number if you have scheduling/ billing concerns. In my opinion, waiting is something I do not mind because the care I receive is worth it.
I can’t say enough wonderful things about Dr. Alam. She is incredibly caring and truly takes the time to listen. You never feel rushed during appointments—she makes sure all of your concerns are addressed and explained clearly. She is thorough, thoughtful, and very complete in her exams. What stands out most is how easy she is to talk to; she creates a comfortable environment where you feel heard and respected. I highly recommend her to anyone looking for a primary care doctor who genuinely cares about her patients.
Choose a different doctor's office. I have nothing bad to say about the doctor herself but there is always an extremely long wait (even though you have a scheduled appointment) and the person who works at the front desk works incredibly slow. I'm not even exaggerating, she spent almost 10 minutes just typing in my card information and writing me a receipt... Honestly, she doesn't seem like she knows what she's doing.
