The food is decent, but they often don't have the items that are listed on the menu. I've tried to order eba numerous times and they did not have it available.It seems that certain dishes are only available on particular days. I would call before you drive there if you know what you want.
SUNDAY It’s Sunday early and for some reason they don’t have sides so you can only get extra rice or extra plantains. Plus it’s super hot in here!!! This is my first time here and I’m not such a stickler for the rules but I won’t be back… FYI this use to be The Golden Crust…
I usually go to Hadys in Raleigh but someone recommended this place for Egusi instead and I can say I definitely do like this place egusi soup better ! It was really good ( meat was a little hard but the soup was great )
Simi provided excellent service she was very professional and asked me the very things I think that are important when ordering food. Made sure the amount of gravy was how much I was comfortable with on my rice - ensured I understood the price difference of the sodas. Was sure to show me the difference in bowl size and price for the soup. Very impressed - Great customer service gets my business!
