Got home to a pile a debri setting on the ground from when the driver loaded a roll off. He was apparently to lazy to get out and put the stuff that fell out back in the dumpster. This happens after they forgot the dumpster here for a week. Called them and they said oh there was never a pick up ticket processed on our end. And the driver tears the end of the driveway all up. Suddenly dropping the green bags and forcing everyone to pay your ridiculous starter and monthly fees is the most pathetic move you guys have pulled so far. I hope everyone moves to the cheaper companies in the area. Just a greedy cash grab attempt that in the end is just going to piss off most of your clients. Get entirely bent.
3rd WEEK IN A ROW they have PASSED by my house and NOT picked up trash!!!! I've been sitting outside waiting since 6:00 am and JUST watched them Drive By AGAIN after picking up neighbors' receptacles. My bag is NO WHERE near Maximum weight....!!! I guess if I'm not "renting" one of their OVERPRICED trash receptacles, there is no need to stop at my house.... Called immediately at 8:15 and put on "Hold" to eventually have "A.I." come on the line and tell me they will call back. We will see....
Today we received a 3 month bill for curbside pickup which used to be FREE!!!!! Now charging a $9.95 monthly fee for one bag a month. On top of buying bags that are now $50.00 for 10 bags. The cost has doubled over the past few years. My gripe is that there was NO warning prior to receiving this bill they just plop a bill in the mailbox. They could have sent out a notification letting folks know about the no longer free pick-up and let us decide what other pick up services we wish to go with or stay with GFL.
