Absolutely terrible service. Repeated missed pick-ups and they don’t pick up trash that falls in the ground when loading their trucks. I would strongly encourage anyone to find a different service if they have the option.
It's been two weeks, and there has been trash left in my garbage bin again. I'm not exactly sure what to do about it. The garbage company isn't taking my garbage--is this normal? I've recently moved into my area covered by GFL, and I am flabbergasted that I'm paying for my trash to sit in my can. I've tried using only garbage bags, leaving cardboard out, but still trash remains. Within the past 2 months, I'd say on average all of the trash is removed about 30% of time. I dont understand how they are still in business, everyone in my family has switched their services away from them. I leave the house this morning and come back 10 minutes later with the trash cans directly in front of my driveway so I had to get out, and move it over. They keep putting papers on the trash can when we’re doing everything they have asked. They are just too lazy to get out of the damn truck only to use the arms on it. Did not pick up my hard waste for 2 1/2 weeks. Now my garbage is in 2nd week of not being picked up. They always say you have to call the day after pick up. Then the person answering says they will send a message to operations. Nothing is done until you speak with a supervisor. Peoria, IL needs to find a new company.
