We love Getcha Sum ice cream! We’ve been fans since before the parlor on Broad…I want to say close to five years! It’s all made fresh weekly by the owner Parker, and we’ve learned it sells out fast! We plan our trips by when the Getcha Sum Facebook page is updated with restocks. They’ll post new flavors and when re-stocking ice cream on their FB page..once we see that, we head over!! We much rather support this small local business and help them thrive here

We tried this place twice. Not a good experience either time. We had out- of -town guests We took there and they had maybe 4 flavors to pick from, scraping from the bottom of the container. It tasted old. The guy behind the counter didn't even care, acted like we were bothering him. I gave them a second chance, two bad experiences, I'm out.

Nice thick hard serve ice cream, staff has always been friendly, and the place is clean. Favorite flavors so far have been biscoff cookies and cream, and the lemon cookie. I'd check their Facebook page before going because that's where it's updated with what flavors they have and what they're out of. The shop being homemade small batch means that sometimes they sell out quick. Pictured below is their 6 scoop flight containing 2 biscoff, 1 lemon cookie, one pumpkin cookie, one blackberry cheesecake, and 1 PB and brownie.
