A nice quiet place to get away from it all.
It is MUCH farther from Greenville than they say, and that doesn't include how long it takes to get to the cabin itself. After you turn onto the washed-out road, you will need to inch along, going from one side to another, to avoid ruts. You need a lifted Jeep to go more than a crawl. If you do have a lifted Jeep, sleep in it, because the cabins are micro: Imagine your guest bathroom with a bed. I've stayed in tiny houses, but this is micro, like a kid's playhouse or lawnmower shed.
Could not have been any better except for the intense heat. Unusual heat dome we experienced. It didn't stop us from having a great time. Everything was perfect. It was a retreat to get over the loss of our older of two dogs that were bonded from puppies. BLU never made his 10th Birthday and Rosie is coming up on her 10th in November. I booked about two hours in advance and received the standard confirmation email, which said I’d get a text message with the cabin number and PIN code. That never happened. After an hour with no update—and no cabin information provided—I called Marriott directly (again, no way to contact hotel).They reached out to the hotel and connected me with someone at the actual property. Had a great stay at the Postcard Cabin! After a sweaty day, I really needed a shower but there was no hair dryer available. Ashley went out of her way to buy a new one just for me—so thoughtful and kind! Cozy place and amazing hospitality. Highly recommend!
