The cabins are nice and I've always got good service but the campsites are ugly, there are a ton of dead trees and very little shade at the sites. I really don't like the change to Marriott with the resort fees, I don't want to spend a required $35 on top of the room price, it's already expensive. Why do I have to pay $15 for s'mores I don't want? It used to be optional.
Booked through Marriot Bonvoy. Even though I have gotten the confirmation, never got details to check in. When you try to call Marriot Bonvoy will give you a number that does not work or is the number you called for Marriot Bonvoy help desk. Absolutely disgusting to try to get in contact with anyone to help you get checked in if there’s an issue. Spent 2+ hours on the phone, absolutely no help.
This was my second stay , and there will be many more. As always, it was beautiful and peaceful. My MinPin, Bella, loves to lie in her bed and look out the windows, and she fussed when I wanted to pull the blinds🥰. Don’t overthink it; just make the reservation!
