It was great. I hated that we had to leave.
Lovely, lowkey, relaxing getaway. We wanted a quick escape from the city (New Orleans) on short notice and this checked every box. Not much to do in the area but we weren’t looking for things to do! Basic cookware and utensils was a nice touch. We brought a Dutch oven for biscuits over the campfire and a French press for coffee, but all you pretty much need to bring is groceries, a book, and good company.
I recently stayed at this location for one night and i really enjoyed it, it was peaceful, no disturbances and the cabin was clean and air worked well.. well stocked with utensils, pots, pans, free fire wood smores for 2. I gave the location a 4 star because the commute was a bit creepy you have to be careful . Easy check in bring extra lighting
