Such a perfect get away! The accomedations were great. We were provided plenty of complementary firewood and fire starters and some s'more packs, coffee, and additional snacks. We weren't expecting a private trail inside the campground, but it was probaby the best part of our trip. The trail was so peaceful and secluded. It leads to a creek, but is pretty steep in some parts, so wear appropriate shoes. Expect to see deer if you're quiet enough! We saw about 10+ different species of mushrooms too (mid july)!
It is exactly as advertised. Would go again and opt for the larger bunk bed version. The one major negative was the worn out, scratched up, nonstick pans. Seriously needs to be thrown out. We did not cook here as the place had two pans total, both crap. So no toaster, no microwave, no freezer all which we knew, but the pans have to be clean.
Extremely Disappointed – Unreliable and Poorly Managed I booked a cabin with Postcard Cabins (St. Louis location) over a month in advance for a surprise getaway with my husband. Less than 24 hours before check-in, I received a call informing me that my reservation was being canceled due to overbooking. The employee I spoke to admitted they had “gone through the list” and simply didn’t have a cabin for me. My sister and I had a 4 day stay and it was so peaceful. So much better than a hotel room with loud neighbors. Close to the surrounding trails and felt super homey. We will definitely be back!
Wife and I stayed for 1 night and were blown away at how amazing this place was. They provided everything we could want including firewood, snacks, coffee and even stuff to make Smores. Even the bed and bedding was top notch. Our little cabin was nicely secluded as the lot it was on was in a small clearing in the woods. This location is about 20 minutes from Hocking Hills State Park which was the nicest state park I've ever been to.
