I haven't been on the adventure cruise, but I did manage to tour the Uchuck III while it was in dock at Point Hope Shipyards. A beautiful boat that would be a pleasure to cruise on. We got to check out the wheelhouse and the interior.
We loved the crew, the boat, the trip, the beach, the food... The sun was with us. Incredible family day, amazing welcome. it's better on Saturdays, you'll have 3 hours to enjoy the island.
We did the Tuesday Nootka Sound Day cruise and had a great time spending about 11h on the boat. It's great to see the crew loading and offloading all kinds of things at a dozen fish farms, coves and resorts in the sound with an amazing scenery as a backdrop. You never know how far the route will take you as that depends on what deliveries and pick-ups are scheduled.
