Charged a copay when he knew he wasn't supposed to. Charged my insurance $700 for a half-hour zoom when he works from home in a twenty-year-old gym shirt. After that, he charged $78 to email me the report from the zoom. The insurance company said he wasn't supposed to do any of this. Scam artist.
He expects you to pay first for him to explain the program , I questioned him and he got his panties in a twist , this dude is pathetic don’t bother with this guy, he’s clearly out to rip people off
I hope people read these reviews before thinking of scheduling an appointment with Dr. Savalia. He doesn't pay attention to the patient. He interrupts you then doesn't let you finish anything. And yes, it seems like money is a big issue. I understand things aren't free, but when someone is suffering a mental illness and you constantly add fee over fee, it's frustrating, which adds to your issues. Plus, you can't contact/speak to anyone in person. If you're looking for a kind, respectful, psychiatrist, this isn't the place. F... read more
Dr. Savalia was rude, very insensitive and self-referential. He did not listen, cut the patient off and proceeded to prescribe a preset system of dealing with pain management that was not tailored to the patient, but one he uses for everyone at his clinic. He told us he could be making $350 an hour at his clinic rather than working for this MediCal patient.
