We’ve relied on Herbert before for installing attic fans, and he did excellent work. Recently, we had a power surge that caused all the GFI outlets in our Carlsbad home to trip and damaged some surge protectors. We reached out to Herbert to inspect our electrical panel and make sure everything was safe. I reached out to Get a Hand Electricians when I had an electrical problem I couldn’t figure out. Ross quickly pointed out over the phone that it might be a GFI outlet I’d forgotten about. After resetting it, everything worked perfectly again. I really appreciate that he helped me out without needing to come over and charge for a simple fix. It shows he cares about helping customers, even if we haven’t worked together before. I’ll definitely call again for any electrical work in Carlsbad.
5 stars for the excellent work by the electrician and 4 stars for the management team. herbert installed two tesla wall connectors (EV chargers) at my home. the whole process, including getting the permit, went smoothly. there were a couple of small things to mention: first, we had to schedule the inspection twice because the printed permit wasn’t there the first time, but herbert brought it the next time and everything was fine. this could be improved by always having the paperwork ready. second, the installation was set up... read more
I highly recommend these electricians! We had a tall two-story foyer with a light fixture that was originally put up with a plastic mount by the builder. Over time, the plastic started to crack and our foyer light began pulling away from the ceiling, which could have been really dangerous. The team sent Herbert out, and he quickly replaced the old plastic mount with a sturdy metal one before anything bad could happen. We are extremely pleased with the electrical work and solar installation done at our home.
