This is a rather small statue of Gertrude Stein, American novelist, poet and playwright. 1874-1946. Not in a prominent spot but she is sort of overlooking the large grassy area. Very busy area.
Loved the whole vibe of the park where the statue is.
Located in Bryant Park, it is easy to miss. It's not a big statue. Gertrude Stein (1874-1946) was an America author and arts patron. Dedicated in 1992, this is a bronze casting statue. She did pose for this statue in the early 1920's.
