Dr.Alapatt is a great Doctor and person everyone I spoke to had nothing but great things to share about him He checked on me every day I was in the hospital even called both my brother and sister after my surgery and made them feel good that I was in good hands and the surgery went well .Thanks to him he seen the issues I was having and pain and frustration resulting from a failed c3c4 replacement and fusion and a 567fusion the other doctors said there was nothing else they could do for me.Thank God for Dr Alapatt I'm healin... read more
Dr Gertsman is the best pain management doctor I have ever been treated by His compassion.. his willingness to listen and his overall way of hearing exactly what I say and is beyond what I’ve ever experienced. He never has been anything other then a doctor who has returned my chronic pain , daily life, into a day I can live my best life and he has so many options to give for pain relief. I hope he never leaves the area.
I have been a patient of Dr. Gerstman for about two years after seeing his colleague, Dr. Kenneth Rieger and coming to a mutual decision that surgery in my case, would not be ideal. Listen: I think Dr Alapatt is highly qualified, & I'm sure surgeon as well, I do NOT recommend NJ Spine Center of Chatham, unless you want wrongful information (dates wrong) submitted to your insurance, no phone calls returned from the staff, and forget about getting your finances straightened out, I had many questions after my 2 year'treatment' with them and they simply kept billing me without answering several letters,phone calls,etc HORRIBLE service(I'm referring to their administrative end of things), also, I was mis-dia... read more
Dr Alapatt is one of the most caring compassionate doctors I have ever seen. I first met Dr. Alapatt in a hospital emergency room when I broke my C1. During every visit he spent the time to answer every question I had. He took his time to clearly explained every step of the long recovery. He never made me feel rushed. He equally showed concern for my mental well being knowing how it would be difficult wearing a neck brace for several months and having to limit my activities.
Dr. Alapatt is a great doctor. He is kind and caring. Dr. Alapatt answers your questions and addresses any concerns you may have. I highly recommend Dr. Alapatt. I am glad I chose him for my neck surgery.

I had 2 years of suffering from sciatica and shooting pains down my legs. I saw other doctors and went through 4 back procedures with little or no relief. Dr. Alapat performed a laminectomy on me, and for the first time in years I am pain free. I highly Dr. Alapat.
