I was scheduled a spine procedure with Dr hood who I trusted completely. The week before my surgery I get a call from Dr pinedas office explaining to me that he will be assisting my doctor on my upcoming surgery. Which was a shock in itself. The Office informed me that I will need to sign a docusign confirming. Doctor Pineda was brought into my back procedure by my neurosurgeon. A difficult procedure went well. Billing department was easy to work with.
Dr. Gerson Pineda is one of the best doctors I have ever met. I had to perform an emergency surgery back in 2021, I was very sick in the ER for several days before the surgery due to Pancreatitis, I had very bad infection. I was transferred to a surgical center waiting for another doctor to perform the surgery, but I still had an infection. I was so lucky that Dr. Pineda was in the surgical center the second day since he had another surgery.
