We had a deal fall through for which we had provided an escrow check to them. ( 10K ) They are holding our escrow deposit until they can verify that the check was deposited into their account. We provided a copy of said cancelled check and now they say they deal with a small bank and they can not verify the funds actually went from my bank to their bank for a " few " days. In my opinion this is unreasonable and unprofessional to hold the money for a " few" days until they can get in touch with their bank and verify.
