My own experience of Dr Gersman is similar to that of Leah's. I also found that he is threatened by intelligent women and that he is condescending in general -- but particularly to women. Moreover, Dr Gersman has been photographing women -- while they eat and without their consent -- for many years. This is not something a psychiatrist (much less one who works with women, some of whom have eating disorders) should be doing. Dr Gersman is certainly experienced. Dr. Gersman is an exceptional psychiatrist. He is knowledgeable, compassionate, and truly dedicated to his patients. He goes above and beyond to ensure you feel seen, heard, and fully supported, and takes the time to understand not just your symptoms, but your story. He tailors his approach to meet your individualized needs, and leaves you feeling understood and seen. His expertise is evident in every interaction, and he’s incredibly thoughtful in his approach to treatment. I can’t recommend Dr. Gersman enough.

According To The Medical Code Of Ethics A Doctor Must Follow, Shawn Gersman Violated The Code Of Ethics.
