I recently had an accident that broke my glasses frame. I went into the Independence store and explain my situation to Ms. Nancy Harden. The lenses were expensive and I needed to put into a new frame. Ms Harden very unselfishly listened and came up with a proposal. The proposed frame did not work but her shop came back with another frame that saved my lenses and my money. In short, I felt that Gerry's employees are Customer focused and my thanks to all at Gerry's staff, of course, specially to Ms Nancy Harden...
THE OLDER LADY THAT ANSWERS THIS PHONE IS VERY RUDE AND DOES NOT PROVIDE CUSTOMER SERVICE TO THOSE WHO DONT UNDERSTAND, SHE INSTEAD GO OFF ON YOU AND ARGUES WITH YOU, I WILL NEVER PROVIDE ANY BUSINESS TO THIS LOCATION ESPECIALLY IF IM A NEW PATIENT, BECAUSE SHE HAS NO PATIENCE AND WILL NOT WORK WITH YOU TO UNDERSTAND, INDEPENDENCE GERRY OPTICAL WILL NEVER GET MY BUSINESS AND I SUGGEST FOR THOSE READING TO DO THE SAME.
We had the worst experience in the world at Gerry Optical on 75th St. The employees were not professional and were openly discussing customers and non payment of bills. I took my mom to get her some glasses, now, here we are 3 months and $650.00 later with glasses that she can't see anything with and absolutely no recourse. They don't stand behind their glasses, once they get your money... I would definitely discourage anyone from patronizing them.
I went into a location years ago.. I was greeted by the most unfriendly staff imaginable. It felt like I had stepped back in time,"to 1912" or beyond? It was open and blatant that my kind was not wanted there%? I was actually going in to see about a job. Since I had more optical knowledge than probably anyone there at the time??
