Had complications with my first delivery and looked to change doctors for my 2nd She came highly recommended and 19 years later even though I’ve moved further away I still go to Aurora for my appointments.

Because of this doctor I’m fighting for my life!! I went to her TWO different times 3 months apart to show her i had a lump and she felt it and seen it both times and said it was from giving birth that it might get smaller or go away but she wasn’t concerned . Because of her the cancer spreads through out my whole body !

I was seen by Dr Kelly Gerow and staff (Nurse Sandy) 3/23/2021. As a first time expecting mother I was baffled that the fetal heart beat wouldn't be measured at my first (conformation/12weeks) appt. When asked about hearing the heartbeat since it was technically my first appt I was advised the "newer" machine was in use &, because the baby was quite active they would capture the heartbeat at the next appt which would have put me at 20 weeks. For the second time in many years, even after complaint, she treated me like she couldn't get me out fast enough and she never let me finish a sentence and tell her what was going on and treated me like I didn't even know my own body, twice. Her bedside manner is less than comforting and her attention is not on you. I'll never ever come back. I remind you, I had made this complaint before years ago, wasn't a fluke.

She is not a partner in caring for her patients. She makes decisions without consent or prior explanations like stripping the membrane when pregnant. She went overboard on my testing because I was 40 at the time of my pregnancy. Her and her nurse are quick to tell you their political opinions. I had to wait 3 hours to deliver as she finished up appointments when my baby had already crowned to be able to deliver. She does not care one bit about your birth plan. Her nurse Sandy is rude.

So glad I set up an appt here. I was in need of a second opinion and Dr. Gerow has been amazing!! I wish I would of found her sooner. The staff is super friendly and she has been so great at explaining all my results and options. Thank you sooo much??

I visited Dr. Kelly Gerow`s office. They took a lot of different tests that I didn`t request and I was not aware that the doctor was taking them. I only got to know about all the tests they took when I received the bills. They even claimed they took a blood test and were going to charge me for that!

At my 36 week appointment, she stripped my membranes without telling me. I only figured out that's what she did because she did it again w/0 my consent at my 38 week appointment. I ended up delivering by emergency C section a couple days later because I had an infection in my amniotic fluid. I truly believe that the infection was a direct result of her stripping my membranes with her unwashed gloved hands. I blame her for my c section. I am pregnant again and I will definitely not be going back.

I tried scheduling a fist prenatal appointment with this provider and my appointment hasn't been cancelled four times. No accomadations were made to get me in any earlier.
