My wife purchased a generator for her mother before the storm. She didn’t use it. We tried to return it. we never removed the generator from the box. They said they do not accept returns on generators. . I spoke to the manager he said it’s on our website that we do not return generators or things with batteries. But yet the receipt says returnable within 30 days. How many people go to the website after a purchase if you have a receipt that says returnable in 30 days. i’m out $1,300 for something I don’t need.
Bought some sleds for this past snow/ice storm. Turned out to be more icy than it was snow, so not ideal conditions for sledding. They had a sign that we did not see that no returns on sleds and shovels, obviously because people in the past purchased them then return them after they use them. Our sleds were obviously brand new the exact way they were purchased with the original receipt.
