"Dream Wedding" Venue! – I attended a friend's wedding at Germania Place last year and loved it so much that I have booked my own wedding there. The space is very elegant, yet you can put your own special touches on it and really make it fit you. That is why I am not worried about having it in the same place as my friend! The staff was really professional plus they were friendly and happy, adding to the overall mood (I hate having crabby servers at weddings!). Brides- and grooms-to-be choose this elegant spot for its luxe ballrooms and soaring windows. – In Short Located in the heart of the Gold Coast, this special events venue has hosted weddings, corporate affairs and other private functions since it was remodeled in 1994. The space features two ballrooms featuring 35-foot ceilings, hardwood floors and mahogany bars. Historic touches like a massive stained glass window above the doors that was displayed at the 1893 World's Fair give it that old Chicago feel.
