Horrible, horrible service. I had germania car insurance for over 2 years. I never made a claim, never missed a payment (I was on auto pay) well, apparently in December of 2023 my payment declined. They did not call, text, email, mail any notice. They just CANCELLED my auto policy. I didn’t find out until I got in a wreck and needed to make a claim in February and was told my policy was canceled. They would not let me reinstate after I mentioned I was in a wreck. NEVER USE THEM
Run as fast as you can!!! We took out a builder's risk policy on a house we are building. It has taken longer than we expected as I got sick last year and had two surgeries, one of which was heart surgery. They never said it needed to be done by certain date. It's been about 3 years. I have paid all premiums and not had any claims. Now that we are within months of finishing it, we get notice today that they are not renewing the policy due to Not Progressing Sufficiently. BEWARE THIS COMPANY IS A SCAM. THEY DONT PAY OUT CLAIMS. 3 months ago I was hit by a driver that had Germania Ins. Germania said they made appts to get my car fixed and it was a lie. They will give you the run around. BEWARE OF THIS COMPANY, THEY ARE POCKETING MONEY THAT PEOPLE PAY FOR THEIR INSURANCE BUT NOT PAYING IF THEY HIT SOMEONE.
I’ve reviewed Germania 1 star out of 5 for the following reasons: - Terrible communication - My son was somewhat rear ended (hit in the right rear quarter panel/bumper) by a client of Germania - The day of the collision we called them and we’re told to get three quotes. After over two weeks of hearing nothing since, my wife has called several times and finally told by Mrs. Bullock that they can’t reach their insured driver or parents.
