My 2011 E550 had an intermittent grinding that took several shops forever to diagnose as a bad torque converter. I found German Transmission Co, and had them do a full transmission rebuild and replaced the converter with a new one from Mercedes and even had them replace the transmission and motor mounts so it would drive like a dream. He charged me a fair price and got everything running smoothly. Even let me see all the old parts he replaced. I've used this transmission shop once before and he was great and fixed my problem and charged me a minimal cost ...he does know his business I highly recommend.
