I’m the owner of a smart for two. Had a engine failure and German specialist took it on when other garages were not that confident with smart cars. They had the car up and running within a couple of days. Rob was amazing he explained in layman terms what needed to be done and it was. Thanks to the mechanics that worked on my car also.
When I had my cambelt replaced here, when I picked up the van, I realised that there was a loud knocking noise on the engine. I dropped it back off for them to have it checked twice, second time on the trailer. First time they said there was no noise, second time they tried to blame it on the flywheel and told me they have no ramp to change the flywheel. Reasonable service, very expensive, unfortunately a childish response to a non 5 star review. Idiotic to think my internet handle and real name are the same. My Audi TT cabriolet had a fuel pump problem that these "specialists" fixed but it took a few days more than I was told and the cost was excessive if I'm being generous.
Good garage, but it's a shame you need to pay for a courtesy car and pay for your own insurance. Have used for last three services but this will probably be my last visit
1st of all they use “GENUINE SNIDE” parts with the serial numbers grinded off… Bad experience, originally quoted me £1200 to fix a bunch of suspension arms, then rang once I had dropped my car claiming they had missed an arm on the quote which then added an additional £300, Suspension does seem better now but once I collected my car there was a terrible scraping noise coming from both sides and also a knocking from the right whilst braking, Turns out they had bent the break/Heat shields in the process and also caused a fract... read more
