Took my car in for a coolant flush and change due to running way too hot and the coolant was a rusty colour as well , anyway drove the car after the work was done and the car was still running too hot, on closer inspection the coolant hadn't been replaced or even flushed, it still had the old rusty brown coolant in the radiator, I ended up taking it to another garage and they said the reason it was running too hot was the coolant had air in the system and would have needing bleeding they also confirmed that the old coolant w... read more
Took my car in for a coolant flush due to running way too hot and the coolant was looking manky as well , anyway drove the car after the work was done the car was still running too hot, on closer inspection the coolant still had the old greeny brown manky coolant in the radiator, what they had done was top up the expansion tank with an orange coolant and left the old greeny brown coolant in the radiator so the old coolant wasn't fushed out , I ended up taking it to another garage and they said the reason it was running too h... read more
