Rented equipment for a project at a church, equipment immediately threw breakers and would not work, immediately returned and obtained the same equipment from Home Depot and it worked just fine. Despite only having the equipment long enough to determine that it didn’t work, Gergen still charged full price for the equipment and refused to refund/discount. Crooks!
The store is dirty and most of the rental equipment is in poor condition but there is no competition so they are the best in Ottawa.
Rented a walk behind hot saw started right up
Once again this company has performed well below my already low expectations. Their equipment is jury-rigged to the point of being unsafe or it just plain doesn't run. They are the only rental place in town which is the only thing that keeps them in business. I keep hoping they'll get their act together but after many years I've finally given up. I'll drive 30 miles out of town before I go back to these folks.
