Disappointing on both occasions when we had no other choice but to use Gerhard's, first for a new refrigerator and then over a year later for a replacement stove. In both cases, customer service was horrible. Once the sale was made, it was as if we didn't exist. Indeed, walking into their store when there were issues with our refrigerator that had not been addressed was an exercise in frustration as I stood there for many minutes before any of the staff sitting further back with nothing to do bothered to help. Two months ago I would have rated them a 5 because I bought several appliances--dishwasher, stove, etc.--and always had great service. HOWEVER, be warned that they do not stand behind their products. I recently bought a washer-dryer set. The dryer never worked. They came and replaced the circuit board. Still didn't work. They said we needed to check our electricity. We did. All fine. They said they needed to contact the company (LG) and that the company needed THREE VISITS before they would replace it! We are now FIVE WEEKS ... read more

I bought a Frigidaire refrigerator from Gerhards in August, 2024. The unit required 2 services from Frigidaire the first year while it was under warranty. The unit broke down for a 3rd time 1 month after the warranty expired. Frigidaire wanted $300 just to send a service rep, so I called Gerhards asking if they could either take the defective unit back and apply a credit towards a new one or repair it. I was basically told it's not their problem, to deal with the manufacturer. NEVER buy anything from Gerhard!

After purchasing a refrigerator,a dishwasher, a gas grill and more recently a washer and dryer from Gerhards, I’ve had it with their horrible customer service which borders on the unscrupulous if not downright dishonest. I paid for installation along with my purchase of the washer and dryer. The surly delivery man informed me that the power chord with the dryer was too short and that I would have to purchase and install this myself. He left my machines out in the kitchen.
