I would NOT recommend Gerber Collision on State St. in Elgin. I only ended up at this location because it was part of the insurance repair process. My Mazda CX-5 was originally estimated to take about one week, but it was kept for approximately three weeks. During that time, communication was poor and getting someone to answer the phone or provide clear updates was extremely difficult. Not even 5 years later and the trunk lid they put on my car has completely rusted through. Very cheap and dishonest body shop. They will slack in as many areas as they legally can. You’ll be happy with your first result but it’s the equivalent to landlords painting over mold.
Excellent work excellent care excellent communication. The only thing that happened was my inside mats were dirty. When I picked up my car just a little dirt doesn’t matter considering the outstanding quality I received. Thank you.
