First off stay away from any Gerber collision. I highly recommend going to Prime. I had anything vehicle that was in an accident and they got me an estimate in hours. GERBER took 3 weeks to get an estimate. If it wasn't for the fact I had a second car they could have put me in a really bad situation. They also are severely understaffed. I was appauled to hear how they have 1 estimater for each site in Lafayette and either estimater does estimates twice a week. When I heard that I thought that was ridiculous. Horrible/rude customer service. They claim they provide an update every Tuesday & Thursday, but i’ve had to call them every Tuesday & Thursday for that update. No real ETA to when work will be completed.
I'm not the most happy with the service. At first I thought it came out good. Then after just a month my scrape guard was hanging down underneath from the clips not staying on. Then my front bumper clips also came undone after 2 months. So now my front bumper is hanging and there is gapping on the front of my car. It's been now 4 months cause I haven't had time to take it back in. I just don't think after the 1st 2 months my clips should of been off from driving. Not the happiest person. I just had the absolute worst car repair experience of my life. Picked up my SUV after it being at their shop for 1.5 months after being in crash which damaged the front and back of my vehicle. During the time they had it, they quoted me (on a Friday) to put in an OEM windshield would cost me $700 out of pocket. My insurance would only cover after market. They told me to take the weekend to think about it. I called back on Monday and told them to proceed. I then get a message that the price went up to $1,100 over the weekend... read more
