Absolutely I would recommend Dr. Perez. This man saved my life, not just through his treatment but also by continuing to follow up to ensure I'm well. Brilliant man.
Dr. Perez managed my surgery and after-care with concern and compassion. His sense of humor is great as he tries to alleviate the fear we all experience when dealing with cancer. He explains everything thoroughly and even calls personally to ensure all is well with me.
I'm not sure if he might be overworked or what the problem is, but I haven't had the best experience with Dr. Perez. I felt very rushed through with my operation, no one called to check on me afterwards and I wasn't notified of my cancer diagnosis for months afterward. I give 3 stars because once the mistake was realized my next operation and subsequent care was much better.
Thank You again to Dr.Perez and his team.I had very complicated surgery 3 years ago and I am doing great. Dr.Perez was fantastic throughout the whole process and i recommend him 1000% to everyone.
Dr. Perez was initially very compassionate, but he rushed us through a radical surgery and then when he found out I was interested in alternative therapies to radiation and chemotherapy, he became very hostile and never performed a gynecological exam after my initial surgery to see how I was recovering. He told me I needed to start radiation treatments immediately, even though the radiologist said it could wait for a few months while I pursued other options.
The staff and care and treatment from MSTI is fantastic. From Carolyn at the front desk, Martha and Tina the nurses all make you feel like family. Dr. Perez is a rock star of surgeons and a pro of professionals. Our family thanks them and we are so grateful for their care!???
Dr. Perez is very straightforward and forthcoming with answers to any questions. I felt very comfortable about the care I received.
