Great doctor. Had an infected port from chemo leakage, but he took care if it!
Most unprofessional Dr I have had. He performed a procedure before waiting for anesthetic to take effect. After it was completed and I confronted him about it, he turned around and walked out of the operating room. Very unprofessional in every way.
Dr. Zemel was extremely unprofessional and rude to me. I went in for a procedure and I had no idea what to expect. When I asked him he replied “you’ll find out”. I was shocked by his behavior and responses to me. I would never recommend anyone going to him. He should have better bedside manners.
I had previously seen this doctor and assumed he was competent, or that he would remember me from a procedure two weeks prior, so I went in for a biopsy with him. Unfortunately, my experience this time was extremely upsetting. I was not sedated for the procedure, which I wish I had been. During the biopsy, the Dr. Zemel did not explain what he was doing or how he wanted me to breathe. Dr. Zemel and his staff can not be beaten in any area of each staff members skill sets. They were swift in their duties yet highly proficient in every skill set they each possessed. The biopsy process was fully explained in a professional manner with an equal measure of politeness and kindness. I want to single out "Kim" on the pre-op and post-op staff as exhibiting a truly outstanding disposition.
