I was sent to see Dr. Kirzner for a mental evaluation for my application for disability. I have a brain tumor as well as a form of muscular dystrophy called myotonic dystrophy type 2. The Dr asked me a bunch of questions such as math problems, pattern repetition, definition/meaning of words. Now just because I have a brain tumor and other disabilities does not mean I’m Stupid. This man did not introduce himself to me with the customary handshake and name exchange. He walked ahead of me and did not gesture for me to sit down. One of the first questions I asked which was extremely relevant and reasonable, he flat out ignored with a silent smirk. All of this interests me when he claims to treat people with dignity because that was not my experience. At the end, he did not get up from his chair and he indicated me to leave with a wave of his hand without looking.
