My dear town girl, I realize this bad review of dr claire was written 5 years ago but I just came across it. I beg to differ with you. I am 58 years old. I went to Dr Clair for many many years until I moved from Pa. He is the finest, kindest, informed gynecologist I've ever had. Please do not go to this doctor. I am in my early 20's and have left on several occasions in tears. I show him studies and challenge what he says and he belittles it. He has even belittled previous doctors for birth controls I was on. Every problem I have he blames it on my weight and says I am fighting my diagnosis. I have been doing temp charts for over 2 years with him and had no luck. I always felt so dumb and was scared to ask any questions. I sucked it up and kept trying, but I am switching doctors. Dr. Clair is by far the worst doctor I've ever visited. Throughout his examine he made comments about my weight (which I've been told by other doctors is well within the healthy range), my birth control regime (apparently I should be using condoms, because birth control is not good for women) and my life style. He sent me to do unnecessary blood work and had me make a new appointment to get the results(every other office will give you your results over the phone).
