I totally recommend him. He's honest, quirky / funny, (so if you are uptight skip him), super smart, excellent and knowledgeable in his field. He also did my sons circumcision.
Dr. Berman has been my OB for the past couple years. He also delivered my baby. My baby’s heart rate dropped and it was a very scary situation. Nurses were running around freaking out and Dr. Berman was extremely calm and told me what I needed to do. Because of him I didn’t need an emergency c-section and my baby is alive. When I go in for office visits he always asks how I’m doing and asks if I have any questions. He is very sweet, and calm. Never makes me feel like he is in a rush.
Have been going to Dr Berman for many years he is a great OB/GyN.unfortunately after calling his office for my annual exam I was told by his staff he no longer accepts Medicare,which of course is his prerogative,but he gave me absolutely no warning. thanks
I was sent to this doctor on a referral. Not very friendly from front office staff to the actual doctor. Very quick on seeing you as a patient didn't feel comfortable as I have at many other doctors office"s No one follow up with you in regards to what's going on. Several times trying to call the office the line will ring and ring no answer... or staff will answer with quick abrupt HOLD PLEASE!!
Berman may know about female parts but he doesn’t understand female feelings. Every visit I feel like he just wants to argue with me instead of listen to me. He omits important information, such as possible side effects of a treatment, just to get you to agree to something you don‘t want.
I would but tell them to be patient because the wait to see the dr is extremely long. I have been going for over 3 years, and the least amount of time I have ever had to wait is 1 hour and 45 minutes. The average time from walk in to seeing the dr is about 2 1/2 hours. The staff behind the window, and medical assistants don't seem to be concerned with it so my impression is this is just standard operating procedure for them.
Dr. Berman is the best in the Antelope Valley hands down. he delivered my baby, even though it was to late to get an epidural. The overall experience was great with him.
