We purchased my daughter's current and last pair of skates here. I don't think we will ever go anywhere else, even though it's several hours away from where we live. Excellent service and care taken in fitting her and finding appropriate skates.
I live in St. Louis and don't have any Jackson dealers near me. I spoke with someone on the phone and he was able to pinpoint my problem quickly and offer some very helpful advice. I very much appreciate the advice given to me and I think I can get some more use out of my Jacksons. I look forward to checking out the shop the next time I am in chicago.
I simply can't say enough nice things about Geppetto's Skate Shop. I was traveling in the area on buisness and heard this was the home of Mr. Edge. I called on super short notice, they got my boots stretched overnight and then helped me to heat mold my boots for a better fit. I was in and out in 30 min. In Lousiville there are no pro-shops and I was driving to Cincinatti just to get sharpened, so to have such service is a treat. I have trusted my daughter Riley's feet to Mr. Edge for the last 4 years...he hasn't steered us wrong yet, and I will continue to rely on him for on-the-nose skate fitting and working with us to find affordable options. And we love it when we can see him in his home base at Downer's Grove :) love the shop!
