I recently had a vasectomy at Northeast Georgia Urological in Gainesville. Dr. John McHugh and his team were exceptional. To be honest, initially I was very nervous and reluctant to have the procedure. After the initial consultation with Dr. McHugh I felt much more confident about it, and scheduled my procedure. I went in for a wife-mandated vasectomy. Dr. McHugh and his incredible staff have made the uncomfortable process comfortable for me. They were very relaxing and reassuring, allowing ample time to opt out if desired. I would recommend as he recommended and that's to opt for gas or anesthesia. The gas was fine for me, I didn't go all the way out, but was definitely numb to the procedure. Excellent staff. 100% recommend.
This place is great. Very patient oriented. Went beyond my expectations with their service and treatment. Dr. McHugh and his staff were amazing. They kept me informed of the entire process and worked with me and my schedule. I would also like to shout out to the anesthesiologist as he had me out like a light without me even realizing it was coming. Great sleep.
