Not professional, they don't care! I had a major surgery scheduled for last week. As I was enroute to have surgery with Dr Ronald Anglade, GA urologist, I received a call stating that if I did not have anyone to stay with me overnight, they would cancel my appointment. Mind you, I had an appointment the week before and I specifically asked was I staying overnight and I was told that they did not know because Dr. Anglade was on vacation and that they would not be able to get in touch with him to ask. This is an update to my original review. The original issues I had with communication with this practice seem to have been resolved.The one hour phone waits seem to be fixed. I think they're working to resolve their issues.
I received a text from this office today at 4:06pm. It was to inform me of a scheduling issue and asked me to call the office to reschedule my appointment the was originally on the 29th. I call in, explained this and was put on hold. It was 4:50 when I was placed on hold for a total of 26:10. When I tried to dial back, of course I got the closed recording. I would at minimum expect the courtesy of someone coming on the line and asking me to call back the next day or continue holding. I'm aware of the recent move but I'm sure... read more
My experience with Georgia Urology following my surgery has been extremely disappointing. Communication with this practice is a major issue. It is nearly impossible to reach anyone by phone without waiting on hold for 30 minutes or more, and even then, getting meaningful assistance is hit or miss. More concerning is the complete lack of follow-up—calls and emails often go unanswered, leaving patients without the support they need during recovery.
