I had a very frustrating experience with Georgia Urology related to billing transparency. I received a payment request with no explanation of what the charge was for. After calling twice and speaking with a supervisor, I was told the charge was for the physician portion of my upcoming surgery, separate from the hospital billing. That part is understandable. I just want to say how awesome my surgery scheduler Jill has been! I’ve had phone issues, had to reschedule multiple times, and she has been so accommodating. I was in so much pain and she did her best to get me in as soon as she could..and she asks how I’m feeling every time!
First off I’d like to say this rating is based clearly on the accounts department not the doctors or medical staff in the Canton location. I am a stage 3 bladder & stage 2 prostate cancer survivor thanks to Dr Gonzales and his team; first and foremost. At the end of February first of March 2025 Dr G wanted to do another cystoscopy to go into my new NEO bladder to have a check up. I will never return to this office again! They have the rudest front office I’ve ever experienced! I never can see an actual Dr. just a Nurse practitioner who doesn’t seem to know much about empathy or medicine! I basically went back back in by referral to my primary doctor to find out why I continue to have blood in my urine to be told your fine and it’s just a mystery that I will have to just live with and live in pain!
