This organization is a joke! I am a community coach(means I coach for free!). My wife and I are going thru a separation. My wifes mom has cancer and moved with my wife. So my son moved with me to give them more space and to take some stress off of his mom. He started the new school on the 2nd day of school. GHSA denied my son from play lacrosse at the new school. I spoke with 2 people with GHSA. The receptionist I spoke with twice and then I spoke with another person about a matter. They don't speak to you they speak at you as well as down to you. The individuals that I spoke with were outright rude for no apparent reason. It's unfortunate we have people governing athletics in this state that are that nasty and rude to people like they are. If this association has umpires for the Whitfield County Middle School softball games this review is for you. If they don't then it is not for them. No one is perfect but I am amazed how two umpires tonight didn't know how to make a correct infield fly rule much less why the rule was made in the first place. Even after trying to quote from the rule book and show them the rule they want to assume wouldn't have mattered anyways.
