Great nonprofit helping to protect Georgia’s land and waterways. I went on a couple of trips with them this summer and had a blast. I did their lower etwoh paddle, the broad river paddle and then the weekend at Cloud Canyon.

Dynamic group of people working for the best interest of all. They do a wonderful job of educating & networking for solutions to complex environmental problems. I recommend stewardship trips as a positive way of learning more about Georgia's environmental wealth. This is the group that advocates for protection of the Okefenokee, Cumberland Island ,Ossabaw, Sapelo & many more beautiful places in Georgia.

I strongly advise against supporting this organization. In my experience, it appears to be poorly managed and overly focused on fundraising rather than meaningful conservation work. Although it presents itself as a nonprofit, its actions often seem more aligned with a for-profit model—constantly soliciting donations while offering little transparency or tangible results. Organizations like this should prioritize their mission over money.
