Customer service could not have been better, and the price was fair. Installation was flawless, and after several years since the carpet is still in great shape. We would definately consider using them again.
run the other direction from this place,im a manager at an apt complex and the owner of the building insists on using georgia carpet for the apts.i always have to deal with bob who is always quick talking to get me off the phone with him.it always takes them forever to get the carpet down after they have measured,bob says that the carpet we buy is good carpet but i know its not.good luck with this family owned store,there is no good customer service here.
No way – The first time I used Georgia Carpets was for a whole house carpet installation that was glitch-free. I returned several years later to buy a rug. This purchase became the worst retail shopping experience I have EVER encountered in my 56 years! It is because Bob, one of the current brother-owners, errrored, lied, was nasty and unprofessional. Great Service – We have used Georgia Carpets several times over the past 20 years - for three different homes. I first did business with Irv - I believe the original owner - father of the current owner. We most recently made a purchase in December, 2010. We have always been treated well, gotten excellent service and very competitive pricing. One time - about 18 years ago - there was a problem. The color of a product did not work in my home. Best source for carpets in the Chicagoland area – I'm shocked by some of the negative reviews. I owned a local business which required a substantial amount of carpetting for over 20 years and always used Georgia Carpets. I also use them for my personal needs. I have dealt with Bob over these many years, and he has always been polite and professional with me. I have also referred friends and family to Georgia Carpets, and they all have had postive experiences.
HORRIBLE Customer Experience We came in to Georgia Carpets and met with the owner. Not only did he act unprofessionally but basically shoved us out the door. He was more concerned about how we were going to pay him versus making sure we had a good customer experience!!! I don't appreciate being scolded and would definatly tell anyone who was going to shop there to seek out someone else!!! The price might be a plus but in the long you are paying for it !!!
