Oct 26: Updating to 5 stars. The owner reached out following my last review and sent me a gift card for when I return. It took some time for me to make my way back but I'm glad I did. They ran the same restaurant week special, which remains a fantastic deal. Our favorite meat was still the pulled pork, and out of the side selection we enjoyed the fries and beans. I really wanted to like this place. The meats are dry and very skimpy for the price that you pay. The okra is something that no one should get because it is so bland and soaked with oil. If you need a bowel movement then by all means get the greasy okra. The brisket was dry I mean drier than the Sahara.
