At my most recent visit with Dr. G McCance, she was very rushed and unwilling to take the time to address my concerns or questions, she was very dismissive telling me that she did not have time and that I would need to schedule a separate half hour consultation in order for her to answer any of my questions. Patients considering Dr. Georgette McCance should read this first. It's rare to leave a medical appointment feeling less heard than when you walked in. That was the experience here. Relevant history was not reviewed before conclusions were made. Attempts to explain concerns were repeatedly interrupted, preventing a complete understanding of symptoms or background. Today’s visit was one of the most dismissive and degrading medical experiences I have ever had. Throughout the appointment, the provider repeatedly interrupted me and did not allow me to finish a single thought or sentence. She reprimanded me for not looking her in the eyes while speaking. I said, “I’m sorry, I’m having a hard time concentrating,” which was largely due to the fact that I could not complete even a short sentence or thought without being cut off.
