Store doesn't have a clue – Terrible, Terrible Service. No accountability for missed due dates from the staff. Best advice look other places.
They made it "sound like" a big discount but not really! – Got a flyer from the school that GSG was offering a 50% discount on some shoes that were being offered for the team. Went to the store and looked..... turned out the shoes that they said were $125 and that we were offering a 50% team discount on actually had a $70.00 price tag for any Tom, Dick, or Harry that entered the store and GSG, the big school supporter that they claim to be, was actually only giving the school team members a whopping $5.00 discount, not the a... read more
Not a retail store – Georgetown Sporting Goods makes the bulk of it's money from schools, referees and youth leagues so don't look for a lot of service or inventory here. If you can find what you want their prices are as good or better than Academy but don't get your hopes up that it will be there. And don't look for any expertise on equipment because you won't find it there. Lots of clueless folks.
Nice Referee Supply Store at the VB State Meeting – Great Service. Nice inventory. Excellent prices!!! Bought a referee's shirt & related gear, for the upcoming season at almost 1/2 price that other vendors were charging. Glad your there, man! Hope to do business with you again.
Worst Service You Could Possibly Find – I have tried several times with this store to purchase umpire gear and they always seem to be out of stuff. The store has a very small inventory and a staff of incompetent employees. When I asked about the challenges all I got was attitude. Everytime I have gone in there the staff is rude including the owner Bryan. I got news for you Bryan it's called the internet. I will never return. The service not even worth one star, unfortunately you have to put at least one to post a review.
shipping – Georgetown Sporting Goods billed my credit card 10 weeks ago for an order I have yet to receive. I understand sitting on the order, but don't charge me until you are ready to ship! Still have hope of receiving the order some day. Maybe?
