Moving here from Lexington- so far I’ve been really impressed with the customer service and the ease of switching everything over. I haven’t actually gotten my trash picked up or anything, but I’ve gotten a lot of information from the website and had some really helpful interactions with the employees. I appreciate that the office has a drive-through, too!

So I paid my bill with the automated payment system as I always do, got a confirmation number and a week later I get a letter bill not paid they added 25.00 service fee and said if I didn't respond to letter they would disconnect. I called asked what happened told them it was confirmed gave them number . I'm sorry christy said there's nothing I can do to help you. I called back again asked for billing but no one ever answered my call. What a poor job at customer service.

Trash service was fairly smooth until someone decided to change providers and go with the cheapest possible bid. Now my trash hasn’t been picked up for WEEKS. I’m about to drop off weeks worth of trash at the front of public works doorstep and let them deal with it. I’m also very irritated that I have no option when it comes to trash service. It’s automatically added to my sewer bill.

I can not understand why Georgetown water and sewer charge what they do for Georgetown residents. A family of 3 in a home use 21 dollars of water a month gets a bill that is 75 dollars is ridiculous. You can’t drink the water it taste horrible. And the lime build up on your commodes and sinks cost the residents money to repair . It is so wrong to have a bill that is ridiculously high . Must be legal for major companies to make the residents pay for the cost of their new construction the build . Not right at all
