Lovely views A quicker version of many rides offered. Open cars which allow for complete views of the surrounding mountains. Beautiful. A bit noisy
Fun trip The Georgetown Loop Railroad is a fun touristy thing to do when visiting Georgetown or on your way to Summit County, Vail, etc. It's a beautiful ride and quite scenic to say the least. You should do it at least once in your life.
Railroad fans this is your stop This is the coolest little railroad, the trip is beautiful and informative. A must see for folks with kids who are on vacation, if you live in the area a slam dunk day trip. The train runs along I-70 but the view is still great, the history is fun and its a beautiful day. Not all the cars are covered so wear sunblock and bring your raingear just in case.
Great Family Excursion Take the Georgetown Loop Railroad for a beautiful ride in a narrow gauge train. We took the whole family and loved it. We took tons of pictures. Be sure to buy tickets in advance during the summer as tickets sell out quickly, expecially those that combine the optional silver mine tour.
