Needed emergency care today, Georgetown Hospital most efficient. Nurse Lisa in emergency is experienced and very pleasant to deal with and Dr F. Nashed was outstanding and extremely knowledgeable with excellent bedside manners. Reception and triage both very effective. Arrive about 11.30 am and following medical procedure, out by 1.30 pm. Halton very fortunate to have such excellent medical services at Georgetown Hospital
We were there in 27.10.2025, for my husband who got heart problems (AFib) while a colonoscopy was getting done on him, and he had to be kept in surgery department for 2 days to get his heart rate stable ( until 29th of October). On the whole nurses were not that cooporative as we expected, but I should mention one of them called Stephanie, she not only wasn't cooporative, kind, caring, but she was so careless, without any sympathy as a human beings, I have never had such a terrible experience of a nurse working at Healthcare... read more
I came to the emergency department with severe chest pain, and while they did my ECG and blood work right away, I’ve been sitting in the waiting area for over 3 hours in pain without even being offered a painkiller. When I checked again, I was told they’re waiting for blood test results before doing anything m. but chest pain is not something to take lightly. Exceptional Care at Georgetown Hospital Emergency! We had such a positive experience at the Halton Hills Georgetown Emergency Department. The triage nurses were efficient, kind, and explained the process clearly. Dr. Tanja Vlahovich was absolutely incredible, she assessed and treated my little guy so quickly and gently that he barely even noticed what was happening, and she even had him smiling (and it was 1 a.m.!).
