I was visiting the area from out of town and wanted to try out this chain because I've seen the reality show filmed at their D.C. location and wanted to see if these cupcakes lived up to the hype. They definitely do. I surprised myself and ordered a coconut cupcake (I like coconut, but it's not something I would ordinarily order). It was extremely good. I was quite pleased. $32/dozen isn't cheap, but these are most excellent cupcakes. We got there at 4 on a Saturday and waited maybe 15 minutes. Tried the red velvet and cookies and cream. Both great. Kids had assorted flavors and loved them all. A secret is to follow their Twitter. They post flavors of the day that aren't on the menu (vanilla sunshine was all gone unfortunately) and sometimes those specific flavors are free. A great treat every once in a while.
